Thought all gardeners would like to know of a brilliant and BEST Slug control method on the market today ...I like you and most gardeners suffer from slugs and snails in this damp weather and in fact now that the climate has changed we have the slug and snail problem all year round, I have tried beer traps, copper tape after 5 days has no affect as it builds up an anodised coating, also tried salt, egg shells, even throwing them in my neighbours garden ( just kidding ) etc,etc all these methods are not practical long lasting and are harmful to our wildlife. recently I Designed and manufactured a new device to control slugs and snails called the slugbell and found it to be absolutely brilliant at controlling them I have now placed slugbells around my flower and vegetable garden ,here is the web page www.slugbell.com they use both Organic or Normal Metaldehyde bug pellets and that the small amount of pellets needed will last up to three months.!!! as they don’t dissolve in the soil and are pet i.e. Cat , Dog and wildlife Safe Brilliant for pet owners ,It is also the most attractive.. I am Extreamly pleased with The Slug Bell.. I will try anything to keep my garden looking how it should whilst protecting natures cycle

Hi Maria,
I look forward to watching your worm family grow! You will be amazed at how productive they are. The tea is almost better than the castings and will keep your plants looking great! Enjoy and thanks for letting folks know where they can purchase a bin.

It is standard practice that the author will sign other books and works at these events. This one seemed to be more of a scripted event which was disappointing.

Hi Maria,

Eloquently written. I enjoyed reading about your experience at the Book Fair and your concern for the failure of our leaders to take action with regard to knowable solutions to our climate problems. After all, to agree to attend the Coppenhagen conference still amounts to lip service including scrumptious banquets, beverage indulgences, networking opportunities and other enjoyable travel perks.

It is disappointing that youor dvd didn't qualify for an autograph. I'm sure you paid for that and Mr. Gore got his mechanical and writer's royalty for that too. I wonder what the deal was?
